@jenann904: 🐔👀 WHAT THE FLOCK IS THIS? 👀🐔 Thought all the cameras were coming down? Not exactly. The FDOT action targeted license-plate readers located within STATE highway rights-of-way. It did NOT mean every Flock camera, ALPR, or other surveillance camera throughout Florida—or Clay County—had to disappear. Now I spotted this CCSO-marked mobile camera unit near Fleming Island Elementary on Lakeshore Drive, and naturally… I have questions. 👀 📹 What exactly is this system? 🚗 Does it read license plates? 🤖 Does it use AI or other analytics? 💾 Is footage/data stored, and for how long? 👥 Who has access to it? 💰 Who paid for it and how much did it cost? 📍 How many of these mobile units are being deployed throughout Clay County? Because “the cameras are coming down” and “certain cameras were ordered off STATE highway rights-of-way” are two VERY different things. I’m not calling this Flock equipment until I verify exactly what it is. Looks like it might be time for another public records request. 🐔🔎 Which cameras came down, which stayed up, and what surveillance technology is still operating in Clay County? Anybody know exactly what we’re looking at? 👇 #WhatTheFlock #ClayCountyFL #FlemingIsland #GovernmentTransparency #PublicRecords
