When Kobe retired nobody even had him top ten and Shaq didn't have him in the goat debate. Sports Illustrated, ESPN, BR, NBA all had him ranked him 11 to 13th all-time and nobody was up in arms over it. Once he died that all changed. Personally I have him 7th. The notion that he's top 3 is asinine.
