Adam Abdelazeez :
From the University of Khartoum to a professor at a British university...an inspiring Sudanese story in engineering and management. The story of Professor Tabarak Bilal represents a model of a Sudanese who was able to transform knowledge and ambition into a distinguished professional and academic career in Britain. She began her academic journey in Sudan, and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Khartoum in 1989. She then continued to develop herself in Britain, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Dundee, and then a PhD in Construction Management from Loughborough University. Her journey did not stop at engineering, but rather combined engineering, administration, and project management, to reach academic work in Britain. She became a professor at the British University of Reading and directed a program specializing in construction management and international development. The message of her story: Success in Europe depends not only on travel, but on education, developing skills, patience, and continuing to build experience step by step. The Sudanese have competence and ambition, and the opportunity requires someone who invests in himself and continues on the path. Tabarak Bilal's story is not just an individual success story...but a message to Sudanese youth: start with what you have, develop yourself, and do not let the humble beginning determine your end. #Sudanese_in_Europe #Success_Stories #Sudan #Britain #Engineering #ProjectManagement #Education #Success #Ambition
