@newswatchplusph: WATCH: House prosecutors said bank representatives will be key in clarifying questions over financial records presented in Vice President Sara Duterte’s impeachment trial, including a figure that was initially reported as ₱2 billion but was later corrected to ₱2 million. Deputy Speaker Paolo Ortega said the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) should explain the correction and determine whether it was caused by a technical or system glitch, saying such a change should leave a digital footprint. House prosecutor Terry Ridon, however, noted that the disputed ₱2-billion figure was never submitted as evidence in the trial. He said the prosecution’s focus remains on the volume of financial transactions under scrutiny. Bank officials are set to testify on the financial records on Tuesday, Oct. 6, as the prosecution continues presenting evidence under Article II of the impeachment case. #newsph#fyp#VPonTrial
