I have a malessezia allergy that causes awful seborreic dermatitis on my scalp, which I worry might lead to hair loss. Any research or thoughts on that?

this is why I have been trying to get my dermatologists to be more thorough when they are looking at my hair loss, actually get a medical diagnosis rather than just looking at my head and saying it's teleflusion or female pattern hair loss I also would like additional blood tests that could tell me my b vitamin level, zinc level etc but I can't get anybody to do that they'll test my ferritin, vitamin d and thyroid and that's it unfortunately those don't show an issue

What is the data based on though? Is the scanner storing the amount of follicles it sees, or what? I want to get a magnifier but i’m not sure how it helps to track progress with the medication, like what does a person look for?
