I have gone through hell and back trying to fit everyone’s expectations and agenda that a stereotypical gay man “should be.” I will not constantly laugh, or be loud, or make jokes. I am allowed to be silent. I will not constantly want to talk about if rather me being gay wasn’t a choice or not. The amount of stereotypes that have been thrown at me are countless, and even after this, people will still continue to throw these microaggressions and stereotypes at me.
