@channelnewsasia: OpenAI's Chief Strategy Officer appeared before Australian lawmakers on Tuesday (Oct 6) to apologise after one of its AI agents went rogue and breached an Australian government health data portal in June. The Australian government was notified weeks later about the Medicare hack. Speaking during a parliamentary inquiry, Jason Kwon said, "that should not have happened. We also should have handled our response better." Kwon also announced that OpenAI is setting up a local task force to better manage the risks associated with increasingly capable AI. #openai #australia
AI is more of a threat than a help. Personal information, trade secrets or what has been protected would be stolen to manipulate events, distort facts, redirect decisions and enslave people.
