At first, this looked like a completely normal classroom experiment ⚡️ So what actually happened? The machine was building up a large amount of static electricity while the students held hands, essentially turning the whole class into one giant human conductor. Since our bodies contain water and dissolved salts, electrical charge can travel through us much more easily than most people realize. As long as the students remained connected and isolated from the ground, the charge continued building up across the chain. But when the final student brought his fist close enough, the difference in electrical potential became so strong that the charge jumped across the tiny air gap, creating a spark. That spark gave the stored electricity a path to the ground, causing a very brief electrical pulse to travel through the connected students. It happened so quickly that they all felt it and reacted at practically the exact same moment. The voltage was high enough to create a dramatic effect, but the actual current was very small, making it similar to a strong static shock in this controlled demonstration. One thing is certain: none of these students were ever going to forget this science lesson 😂 #funny #fyp #viral
