Where the Sky Starts They told me the forest was the edge of the sky Stay in the silver, never ask why I followed a ribbon of bootprints and dew Past the last ward and the world opened new Hills like a story I was never allowed Town bells and banners and a road through the cloud My kin said the outside would swallow an elf But the air tastes like freedom and I kept it myself No crown, no chain Just a path and a name If they built me a cage I walked out of the frame Out of the trees, into the wide Every new color is a reason I tried Run with the kick like the trail never ends Out of the trees And I’m not going back again Run Run Past the line Free Free This world is mine A river of lanterns, a market of gold Strangers who wave like the old tales were told I touch every doorway the forest forbade And the map in my heartbeat gets bigger each day Mountains like questions, cities like song I don’t know the language but I still belong If my kin send a hunter they can follow the glow I’m already further than they said I could go Leaves in my pockets Dust on my boots A girl from the closed wood Learning the routes No spell pulled me outward No prophecy planned I just wanted a horizon And I took it by hand Out of the trees, into the wide Every new color is a reason I tried Run with the kick like the trail never ends Out of the trees And I’m not going back again Keep the road open Don’t call me home I found the world waiting And I made it my own #edm #dance #trance #music #puppy #fantasy #adventure - @clashingimages
