we don't have jet bridges for handling it and also well something else is that JKIA is a hot and high airport so if flights were to be scheduled the plane will be somewhat limited by MTOW and engine flex temp limits to prevent overheating the engine components. not unless the JKIA concourse expansion should include at least a 747/ a380 gates. But still JKIA is an expanding airport and a venture for an expanded passenger concourse terminal for phase 1 and the proposed second runway would be great.

But Boeing 747 have landed in JKIA the Air force one which has no big difference with Airbus A380 the problem is the terminal gates

the biggest planes zenye ziko jkia ni Boeng777, 787, A320, A350, though A380 ishai Fanya emergency landing ya South africa once.. so landing is not an issue issues ni clients, routes ju ikona high maintenance

A380 is economically for for long distances like Dubai to Sydney or Dubai to Tokyo I don't think they do stop overs

Ruto should upgrade JKIA as a matter of priority. Flying back home from other international airports huwa inafanya mtu anafeel vibaya sana. Especially the international arrivals area that looks like an old warehouse
