When life was simple 🫶🏽🙃 when’s the last time you had this for dinner?! Salisbury Steaks Recipe⬇️🫶🏽 Ingredients: - 2 lb ground beef - 3/4 cup pork rinds or breadcrumbs - 1 tbsp yellow mustard - 1 tbsp salt - 1 tsp pepper - 1 tsp garlic powder - 1/4 cup milk - 1/2 white onion, sliced - 1 tbsp minced garlic - 1-2 tbsp steak sauce - 3 cups beef broth -2 tbsp cornstarch + water (slurry) Instructions: 1. Preheat the Pan: Heat a large skillet over medium heat. 2. Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, pork rinds (or breadcrumbs), yellow mustard, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and milk. 3. Mix Well: Use your hands or a spoon to mix the ingredients thoroughly until they are well combined. 4. Shape the Patties: Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into large oval patties, about 3/4 inch thick. (4 of them) 5. Cook the Patties: Place the patties in the preheated skillet. Sear each side for about 3-5 minutes until they are browned but not cooked all the way through. 6. Remove Patties: Once seared, remove the patties from the skillet and set them aside on a plate. 7. Sauté the Onions and Garlic: In the same skillet, add the sliced onions, minced garlic, and butter. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes, or until the onions are soft and translucent. 8. Add the Beef Broth: Pour in the 3 cups of beef broth and stir to combine with the onion and garlic mixture. 9. Add the Steak Sauce: Stir in the steak sauce and mix well with the broth. Add in cornstarch slurry 10. Return Patties to Skillet: Place the seared Salisbury steaks back into the skillet. Make sure they are submerged in the gravy. 11. Simmer: Cover the skillet and let the steaks simmer for an additional 15 minutes on low heat. This will ensure they finish cooking in the gravy. 12. Serve: Once done, serve the large Salisbury steaks hot, over mashed potatoes or rice, topped with the onion and gravy mixture and enjoy!! 😮‍💨🫶🏽 #salisburysteak #90sdinner #throwbackmeal #familydinnerideas
