It was even the U.S. government that started raising concerns about AI being dangerous, especially after China released DeepSeek. But I think the argument needs some perspective. AI can definitely be dangerous when it's misused, but so can many other technologies. Even a gun is far more directly capable of causing physical harm than AI.
