@ugcwithmelc: Think tofu is boring? 👀🌶️ Wait until you try it like THIS… 🔥 CRISPY GOCHUJANG TOFOO 🔥 Sweet, spicy, sticky and seriously crispy — this is such an easy way to turn a block of Tofoo into something ridiculously tasty. 🌶️ You’ll need: • 1 pack Tofoo, cubed • 2 tbsp cornflour • 1 tbsp oil • 2 tbsp gochujang • 1 tbsp soy sauce • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup • 1 tsp sesame oil • 1 tsp rice vinegar • 1 garlic clove, minced • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger • Splash of water To serve: Steamed rice Spring onions Sesame seeds Chilli flakes or chilli crisp 🌶️ Method: 1️⃣ Cut the Tofoo into bite-sized cubes and toss with the cornflour until lightly coated. 2️⃣ Heat the oil in a frying pan and cook the tofu until golden and crispy on all sides. 3️⃣ Mix together the gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger and a splash of water. 4️⃣ Pour the sauce into the pan and toss everything together until the tofu is completely coated and the sauce turns gorgeous, glossy and sticky. 🤤 5️⃣ Serve over rice with your greens, spring onions and sesame seeds.
