this reminds me of my youth service year in Yauri. Myself and few corps members organised a booster tutorial classes for WAEC and UTME candidates. And despite doing it pro bono, we were using our money to buy biscuits and zobo drink for them to attend Classes. Anytime we couldn't give them biscuits and zobo drink, they'll go back home and start singing "ba abinci ba makaranta" meaning NO FOOD, NO SCHOOL.
