@monarchofqueens: SOMETIMES MORE TIME IS NOT THE ANSWER I’ve been thinking about how often we tell ourselves: “I just need more time.” More time to decide. More time to think. More time to see what happens. More time before we finally make the move we already know we need to make. And sometimes, yes—time gives us clarity. But sometimes time simply gives us more opportunities to avoid a decision. That is the part we do not talk about enough. We can become very comfortable waiting. Waiting feels safer than choosing. Because choosing creates responsibility. Once you decide, you have to live with what comes next. So we stay in the middle. Not fully committed. Not fully leaving. Not saying yes. Not saying no. Just waiting. And eventually, indecision becomes its own decision. The days keep passing. The circumstances keep repeating. And the answer we were hoping time would give us may have been sitting there all along. Maybe clarity does not always arrive as a sudden feeling of certainty. Sometimes clarity is simply recognizing the pattern. Recognizing what has not changed. Recognizing what keeps draining you. Recognizing what you keep having to convince yourself to accept. At some point, the question may no longer be: “Do I need more time?” Maybe it becomes: “What am I hoping more time will tell me that I don’t already know?” Because sometimes the answer is not hidden. We are just not ready for the decision that comes with it. — Food for Thought with Angela Exploring Life Beyond the Surface #FoodForThoughtWithAngela #thinkdeeper #Clarity #DecisionMaking #SelfAwareness
