The "Usopp is useless" agenda has never made sense to me. Y'all judge him as if he's supposed to fight like Luffy or Zoro when that was never his role to begin with. He's the most ordinary human on a crew filled with monsters. Luffy was trained by Garp and Rayleigh, Zoro dedicated his entire life to becoming the world's strongest swordsman, Zoro has been training in swordsmanship since he was a child. Sanji was raised in Germa and later trained under Zeff, Jinbe is a Fish-Man, Robin has an incredibly broken Devil Fruit, Franky literally rebuilt his own body, Brook is immortal because of his Devil Fruit. Meanwhile, Usopp is just... Usopp. A normal guy with no insane lineage, no overpowered abilities, no monster-level strength.
And yet he still sails with them. He still walks into battles he knows he has no business surviving. He still puts his life on the line for his captain and his friends, even when he's terrified. That's the entire point of his character. Courage isn't the absence of fear, it's choosing to move forward despite being afraid.
People love bringing up the moments he panics but conveniently ignore every single time he came back, stood his ground, and saved the crew when it mattered most. Without Usopp, the Straw Hats would've lost more times than people are willing to admit. He doesn't have to be the strongest to be one of the bravest. The fact that he's just an ordinary human standing beside monsters is exactly what makes his courage so admirable. Calling him "useless" completely ignores everything he's sacrificed and accomplished throughout the story
