This is old news and happened a couple years ago. Lake Elsinore has new owners and is open again

David Blaine :
there should be a public list of people who have filed lawsuits against tracks so they can be banned from all tracks.

They did the same thing. The skate parks back in the eighties and nineties, and now the city has skate parks

It’s the insurance companies. They will gladly collect your monthly premiums from you but god forbid they have to pay for your claims. In the case of MX, they go after the landowners and the track companies to pay for the claims.

should not be able to sue when you sign the liability form. your taking a risk every time you get on a bike

That’s why it is happening. To force the property owners to eventually sale their properties for land development projects.

You accept the risk when you hop on the bike or do any sport at all. the only exception is if there is something completely unsafe and negligent at a track. but im convinced California specifically wants all off road activities banned

What’s weird to me, is that lake Elsinore is a possible location for a data center. I wonder if this is somehow related.

so far Arkansas and my state, kansas, have passed laws protecting track/ private property owners from being sued!! Hopefully this will help open a few more tracks.

waivers are worth the paperwork they're written on in this litigious country... people refuse to take responsibility and accountability, and slimy shark lawyers are always there to get a slice of the pie.

You can thank our justice system and bullshit attorneys. go step further and thank the bullshit judges. these type of lawsuits are the reason any type of liability insurance is outrageous. One of the worst exploited insurance markets is the heavy truck insurance . repo truck insurance is also very expensive. these people can sue over anything and bullshit judges make it possible there should be no such thing as a "loophole". if you sign a waiver you sign a waiver. there shouldn't be a loophole around that waiver.
