@artvangarde: Artist Sema Özen creates handmade miniatures and tiny imaginary worlds, often hiding complete scenes inside walnut shells. In Bunny’s Nest, Özen transforms a walnut into a miniature home for a sleeping rabbit. One half contains the tiny character tucked into bed, while the other becomes a microscopic living space filled with shelves, books, plants and everyday objects. Almost every element is constructed at an extremely small scale, turning the natural shape of the walnut into both architecture and protective shell. Özen describes her practice with a simple idea: “Big stories hidden in small details.” #art #artist #niche #avantgarde #design
