I’ve breastfed two babies, and both times starting solids has not changed the breastfeeding at all. We’ve carried on just as we were before. Breastfed the first until almost 2, currently still breastfeeding my youngest who’s 18 months old

You’re not alone libby, all moms go through this! Not to rationalise this because it’s valid but breastfeeding can be part of your journey for so much longer. it only gets more special once they become more aware of their surroundings. The mid feed pause and smile or face touch once they’re older is so special! 🫶🏼🫶🏼

Food at that age is just for fun and learning, babies should be getting all of nutrition from BF or formula! Don’t stress 💜

I had to leave the country to get mine off the boob at a year and a half. [Tears of joy] starting solids will be good for your sleep deprivation and overall mental health but it won’t stop him from wanting you. ✨
