In the uk, a 3 bedroom house will cost you £2k just rent, plus £200 council tax. Thats without the bills! I’m moving to Italy tomorrow! 😂

If you have statistics for each regions savings rates, that basically tells you what affordability is. The savings rate tells you how much of your income you save after all bills are paid. I know Italys savings rate (the entire country) is 11%. By comparison the USA is 3%, Australia 6%, UK 9%, Italy 11%, Switzerland 19%, China 36%.

I hope to move to Abruzzo someday. However, I think it's best for me, at my age, to stay in The States for now to work. Sto imparando l'italiano, ma non parlo bene. I can read Italian pretty well. Understanding a native speaker is my weakest area. Especially when regional dialect is thrown in.

Wow the pay is so low. But i guess cost of living is much lower than IS too. The top four jobs on the list here in the US earn anywhere from 200k to million per year depending on the city and the company Even a nurse in large cities is making 80,000 or more
