My main thing is… don’t consider my OPTIONAL OVERTIME apart of my annual income. If by hourly wage I make 50k a year, don’t list my annual income at 75k because I bust my ass with overtime to keep myself afloat while paying CS.

They took my husband highest bonus check and applied as a monthly income when he makes that high bonus maybe 3 times a year on a high end. Also, they aren’t even supposed to consider bonus because they aren’t a guaranteed income. They also over did my husbands income by 30k. We’re paying almost 2,000 dollars a month and live paycheck to paycheck because of it. We also asked for them to consider his ex’s husbands income because she is a SAHM because he makes so much and they literally told us no and if we want to change it to consider that we need a lawyer. That we can’t afford because we’re paying so much in child support every month. 😩 I HATE how screwed men get in court.

My ex sends his payment every month via Zelle. Child support enforcement isn't involved. He pays and I send him a "receipt" for his proof. It's really not hard

My man paid depending on the month 1400-1200-900 a month for his kids, had his kids EVERY WEEKEND, sometimes (most times) multiple times during the week. At one point had them every single night for 2 years .. child support still put him in treats $4500.. like wtf? Child support is a scam. We’ve been fighting this for over year. She turned around and kept kids from him for 6 months.. asks for more money on top of the 1500 in cs she gets and it’s truly sad watching him struggle. He has another kid he’s responsible for that lives with him. Can’t afford nothing. She’s a nurse. He’s had to start from scratch a few times. How do you stop it? The government does not care to take from one house to give to another and watch the payer fail. What about causing them to go into poverty ? It’s. Vicious cycle.

Always go fight child support in court. I pay $0 because we have them 50/50 child support tried to tell me I owe her bs I told them take me to court I won.
