I have a rule. for each snap,flick or tic I let then wait 30 minutes before I come over to help. the average rude person snaps 3 times. gives me 1,5 hours to help other not rude people

I used to work in a bookstore. A man once clicked his fingers across the store and then when I ignored him whistled for my attention. I walked over and went " I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you've lost your dog. Now I'm going to turn round and you can try again to politely ask for help. And please be aware sir that if you click those fingers at me again, there is a high possibility you may lose one"
