@carrotlaneofficial: Buying ETH near the high nearly wiped me out. The lines became blurred. ETH had been my fastest horse in the early 2021 race, and somewhere along the way I started believing that would be a forever thing. Then in 2022, I heard Anatoly Yakovenko speak at VeeCon. He barely spoke about the technology. He spoke about what Solana could actually be used for: ticketing, trading, NFTs and an app ecosystem, almost like the Apple App Store of the internet. Around that period, SOL began showing relative strength against ETH. That was the signal for me to start looking elsewhere. More recently, in 2024, I leaned heavily into SUI. If I’d stayed stuck in ETH and married my token like so many people do, there probably wouldn’t be a Carrot Lane page today.
