Save Iraqi women! We need help. We are facing severe oppression in our country. I admit In Iraq, there is a law called the "Jaafari Code," which has no connection to humanity, justice, or equality among members of society. Under this law, children as young as seven can be married, women are deprived of their rights, and they are forced to submit to this injustice. When she marries and then discovers she's not with the right person, she can't get a divorce. She's oppressed simply for refusing humiliation. If she does get a divorce, she's denied alimony, her children are taken from her at the age of seven, custody goes directly to the father, and she's prevented from raising her children. This law allows a husband to kill his wife under the guise of "honor killing," and he is imprisoned for only 3 years before being released and resuming his life. Help us, we are suffering oppression in our society. #Save_Iraqi_women_from_oppression
