As a teacher in atlanta (middle school teacher) 75% of my students are displaced. I have an entire mini lunchroom in the back of my classroom because some of my babies don’t eating at night. Also as a teacher I cant afford a home in the city I teach in. 🫠

I use to drive a school bus where children where in a shelter long term. I would have to pick them up first so other kids wouldn't make fun of them and drop them last. It's sad

My daughter takes hella snacks to school.. she says it’s because someone doesn’t have snacks at snack time… I don’t care I can afford it!!! Take it all… I started packing triple!

My son takes an extra lunch for his friend that lives in an extended stay. His friend says it’s his lunch for “later”, but when he asked to give him some of his uniforms… I knew something wasn’t right. Our kids care about these kids more than the country we work for. PLEASE VOTE!!!!

VERY IMPORTANT CONVERSATION!!! I think people forget about the kids when we talk about homelessness. A lot of those adults who are homeless have kids. Those kids are experiencing that trauma right along with their parents. It’s sad.

I live near Toco Hills/Briarcliff area and the QT parking is full of cars with people sleeping in them. There are homeless people sleeping on the street and in empty office complexes off Lavista Road. This is BAD!!!! 😕

I drive by the extended stay here and there are so many babies out there. It’s is $450 a week before taxes. I live in Georgia. They are building up this area for UGA and it’s sad af. Family duplexes are being rented by room for more money.
