@sheldricktrust: Pardamat finally has two tiny tusks! While most elephants start growing tusks around the age of two, Pardamat's are only appearing now, at the age of four. His partner-in-crime, Olomunyak, was an early bloomer, and his small-but-substantial tusks have given him plenty of confidence to take on his older friend! Now both boys are proudly sporting their tusks, and playtime has taken on a whole new tempo. Can you guess who’s who? Pardamat and Olomunyak are orphans who lost their mothers to human-wildlife conflict and endured difficult starts to life. Now, they’re growing up in our care, with the ultimate goal of a fully wild life when grown.
