I couldn’t have said it better!! 👏🏻 I agree 100% with everything you’re saying!
It’s so disappointing that PSPP won this election. I understand we needed a change, but unfortunately, like all past PQ governments, we’re heading straight into more debt. He’ll spend hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars on a referendum that will most likely fail again, like in ’95… money that could be going to health services, support for families, people struggling since COVID, and so much more. Let’s not forget that our healthcare issues started because of PQ Lucien Bouchard’s massive cuts in the health system in the ‘90s… those cuts inflicted structural damage that lasted for decades. The systemic issues seen today, such as severe nursing shortages, overcrowded emergency rooms, and massive waitlists, are the result of a compounding mix of the 1990s austerity measures, subsequent political reforms, an aging demographic, and recent pandemic disruptions. Can 1 billion dollars or more not go in the health system instead of a referendum???
It’s a very sad day today… 😢 I love my country, and Canada includes Quebec 🇨🇦
