@fiannafail: Investing in homes. Delivering Communities Fianna Fáil with @jamesbrownetd has secured €9bn in investment to increase housing supply, with funding across social, affordable and private housing. That includes: 🏠 €3bn for social housing, supporting circa 11,500 new social homes. 🏡 Over €1bn for the Starter Homes programme, supporting 8,500 affordable homes. 🔑 €110m in increased support for first-time buyers through the Help to Buy increase, bringing the maximum relief to €35,000. ♻️ €140 million to retrofit 3,500 social homes, making homes warmer and more energy efficient. This is about building at scale and investing for the long term, increasing supply, supporting people into home ownership, delivering more social and affordable homes, and ensuring support is there for those who need it most.
