MORE HERE 👇🏻 💬I’ve shared a summarised version of my birth stories for the twins in my instagram profile a while ago, let me know in the comments if you’re interested in me sharing a full, detailed version of their birth story which was a natural, drug free birth with a few surprises like one being born in the sac & the other getting stuck for a while. 📸 For this post I just wanted to share a clip I took of myself when I was in hospital on my own. 🚿 By this point the twins had been whisked away, my husband went with them. I was stable, the doctors & midwives were gone (checking on me intermittently). I had cleaned myself up & was now just laying on the bed in total shock of what just happened. ❓The whole thing felt so surreal… “Did I really just give birth to twins that quickly?” The total relief I felt knowing that was the last time I ever have to do that again. Four beautiful kids & I’m done ✅ 🤰🏼My tummy almost looked flat when I laid on my back but on my side it looked like this. 👶🏼👶🏼I’m so impressed by what a woman’s body is capable of. I remember looking at my belly thinking “how on earth did those two babies fit inside this?” 🙏🏻 I’ll be forever grateful for the ability to have children. For my bodies ability to birth them all naturally & recover so quickly. 💭I just remember thinking “what just happened”, “I’m done giving birth forever now”, “I’m so grateful that all went smoothly in the end”, “thank goodness I didn’t need intervention”, “I hope my babies are doing okay”, “I can’t wait to introduce them to their brothers”, “I wish my husband were here”, “I wish I could be holding my twins right now”, but also “It’s so nice to be completely alone for the first time in 8 months”. 👉🏻Tell me what was going through your head when you just had your baby, after all the rushing & fussing was over. 📲 SHARE to an expectant twin mum 📲 FOLLOW for more twin, 3 under 3, parenting content with 4 kids! #parenting #twins #twinmum #twinbirth #twinpregnancy #birthstory #mumlife
