@a.m11771: October 7, 2023 changed the lives of so many people forever. Thousands of people were murdered, injured, or kidnapped. Families were torn apart, and so many people lost someone they loved. Among them was the Bibas family from Kibbutz Nir Oz. Yarden, Shiri, Ariel and Kfir were a family. Yarden was kidnapped and taken to Gaza, while Shiri was kidnapped together with their two young children. Ariel was only 4 years old. Kfir was only 9 months old. Yarden spent 484 days in captivity before finally coming home on February 1, 2025. But he came home without his family. Shiri, Ariel and Kfir were killed in captivity. Ariel and Kfir were not just names in the news. They were children with families, dreams, smiles and a whole life ahead of them. Shiri was a mother, a daughter, a friend, and someone deeply loved. And the Bibas family was only one of many families whose lives were changed forever that day. Behind every name was a person. Behind every number was a life. Behind every family was a story. We remember Ariel. We remember Kfir. We remember Shiri. We remember Yarden. And we remember everyone who was murdered, kidnapped, injured, or lost someone they loved on October 7.
