@whats_heonabout_pod: Tag the @ICC if you want a Test Cricket World Cup! This simply HAS to happen as I for one want to see India vs Pakistan play in a test cricket match just once in my life… Could this work? Jake Angus872 :

Great idea, never seen such fiction to see Australia in 8th

Blue :

I think the draw is probably the biggest issue with this...

George Erith :

And the final is 10 days long 8 innings

Meyi _ Muna :

the idea sounds good... we just need to do something about a draw... there must be something better 🤔🤔 I think just sending the higher ranked through is wrong... maybe the extra day sounds good.

The Traveling Medic :

I like it 🔥🔥

montysimmonds :

I love it but if the final is a draw there has to be a t10 to decide the winner

ESM6 :

Great idea

Godderzz :

Nat a bad idea tbf

The Atmosphere Is Electric :

Miles better than what we’ve got!

Jacob Arratoon :

Probably a bit generous for the 8th placed team to make the finals, maybe top 6 with 3v6 and 4v5 first round

Dan :

Toss is too important for a one test knockout. How about split day innings?? Both bat on each of day 1 and day 2, the rest will sort itself out…

Myfriedpotatosmoothie :

sensational idea. test cricket is a dying art

Aaron :

Tournament lasts for 3 years.

Michael :

How about 4 groups of 3. All teams in the group play each other. Top 4 qualify. 6/7 weeks, with most teams going home mid way through the third week?

007damn :

Good Idea

Brian McDonald :

there's no way poms top the test table.lol

forthehateofcricket123 :

ye that good

Rish Cricket :

Wait a minute!

Rory :

Connor :

To keep a drew away make it 6 days instead of 5 if the pitch is a road

Bradley Keel :

The only thing that need to change with the WTC is that every team should play each other home & away, which should be able to be done every 4years. Sadly it won’t, cos India would throw their toys out the pram at the thought of having to play Pakistan without it being in a rigged WC group stage

Dave :

Clearly fantasising with England 😂

Iain Wilson :

@felixwhitetailender get onto your lawyers

MontyDon78 :

You might want to have a listen to the Tailenders podcast. @felixwhitetailender championed this idea 2yrs ago!!!’

fruitbat :

Loving the digital first presentational style!! Great idea @ICC
