@probreakingnews: Jesse Walker, 60, was abruptly removed from Indiana’s WTWO after more than 40 years. He had planned to leave on October 2 and launch a weather company with former colleague Alex Kerkhove, 20. Their unusually close relationship had drawn scrutiny. Anonymous coworkers described them as “obsessed with each other” and called the dynamic “very creepy,”. Walker and Kerkhove have consistently described their bond as mentorship and friendship. Kerkhove defended Walker, calling him her “station dad.” Nexstar disputed that either employee was fired, saying Walker requested his release and Kerkhove chose not to return after being asked. The pair now plan to work together on their own weather venture. #jessewalker #alexkerkhove #agegap #Relationship
