@onthemoneywithme: Budget 2027 finally gave us the first real details of Ireland’s new Personal Investment Account — and honestly, it’s more interesting than I expected. I break down how it works, what changes for investors, and what’s still unclear. Capital is at risk when investing and the value of your money can go up as well as down. Not financial advice. General information only. #irishfinance #financialliteracy #budget2027
I would love to have €1,000 to invest every month!

Hi, I’m a beginner in investment and I would like to have your opinion about what broker should I use (Degiro, Trade Republic, IBRK, others?) In terms of costs, burocratic administration etc. I’m an Italian living in Ireland. Thanks

Not til July 2027 - and there's a question mark over what the provider will charge to do the taxes for you.

Can you take your funds out whenever you want, or do you need to wait certain timelines before your funds are accessible for drawdown?

Not sure how I feel about being taxed on losses . Regardless if it goes up or down? Is that what I heard?

I don’t think they will allow online platforms to access this investment type. The government rarely do anything really well so I’d say they will stick with banks, credit unions (maybe) and insurance companies.

Any remember when the Irish banks took the fall for the EU. We are still paying out of our wages. We lost all our shares, all our money. It’s an investment savings. No thanks from us.
