It doesn’t impact ME much bc pretty much everywhere I need to go is within 3 miles of my home so I only fill up once every 3ish weeks. But I have friends that have to drive up to an hour to get to work. It’s killing them.

I drive a Honda civic. Used to only cost me just a little over $20 to fill up my tank. It’s now closer to $40. And my bf is an owner operator truck driver. Last summer, it cost him on avg around $500-600 to fill up his tank, including fuel for his reefer. Last week, it cost him almost $1200!!!! It’s insane.

I had a married "friend", I was single at the time, tell me I wasnt budgeting good enough and that I had more than enough money. I called her bluff. I gave her my expenses plus my original budget and told her to see if she could do better. She came up with the SAME NUMBERS THAT I DID and then was like... oh... yeah you REALLY dont have any money. Bruh. Why is that what it took for you to believe me? you think I cosplay being poor or something???

I live by a budget. I have a $30 gas tank that now take $70 to fill from E. I gas up once per week. I may get 9 days. That's more than $150 per month just on gas.
