You know this whole system needs to be completely overhauled!! just take a look at it. You have a shipper and receiver that wants the carrier to move the load on credit I get paid 60 to 90 days later and most of them are 90 days later after they sell the product. grocery stores are notorious for this. let’s use Kroger’s as an example so you haul a load of macaroni and cheese to Kroger‘s Kroger‘s expects the carrier to wait 60 to 90 days before they’re paid so they can sell the product well within then that 60 to 90 days they’ve done sold over 20 truckloads of macaroni and cheese. What they’re doing is holding onto the money drawing interest off of it before they pay the carrier.! but does the carrier get to go to flying J or loves get its Fuel and pay their bills 60 to 90 days after they collect hell no so why should the carrier have to carry the liability to move someone else’s freight? These are billion dollar corporations! Then they say oh you can go to a factoring company give them 3 to 5% of your money and you can get it now so now you got the factory Company and the Broker in the carriers pocket all of them trying to get a piece of the carriers profit and it’s always the carrier that has to carry the liability. This old system just doesn’t work anymore.

Just like they did with Feightquote.com they will let it run as it is for a few years while they absorb the high-volume customers first while removing the commission portion of revenue along with the sales rep and then have customer service reps run the accounts. Then the smaller accounts will go to self management and A.I. handlers.

A friend of mine used to heavy haul equipment locally. He said the bigger the company the harder it was to get paid. Sometimes he would wait a year to get paid. One company in particular he was trying to collect from literally told him he was too small and they had bigger customers to pay before he got paid. What do you do? Sue them? This particular corporation is massave with hundreds of lawyers backing them.
