@gatorchris1: Little dragon! Mushu the dwarf caiman is a little beast, he cracks me up😂. Bold little dragon! The Cuvier’s dwarf caiman is the smallest member of the crocodilian family, maxing out around 4–5 feet. Native to forest streams in northern and central South America, they prefer slow-moving waters and stay hidden most of the day. Mushu loves hiding under his little log cave and coming out at night to hunt. Despite their small size, these animals require specialized care, and we strongly discourage keeping any crocodilian species as pets. Sadly, most “pet” crocodilians suffer from deformities and poor welfare due to improper care. (We have longer videos diving into that if you’re curious.) If you’d like to support Mushu and the other animals here, we appreciate tax-deductible donations via our website: bellowingacres.org 💚 @bellowingacres ❤️ Help support the sanctuary for free: Like, comment something kind, and share! Every interaction helps us continue caring for these incredible animals. #DwarfCaiman #Caiman #animals
