I love watching people in the arrival section of the airport waiting for their loved ones. The bright smiles, the flowers they clutch on, the kids dressed in their best clothes…the joy is so beautiful. Then amongst them there are people dressed in black waiting for the loved ones to share the grief of a lost one together. This is what I try to hold on to when I see comments like this. Jordiye…keep shining the light on our darkness so we are unafraid to see it and to confront it for society that thrives.

tbh it's not because I expect anything, it's because I grew up watching my grandma favouring from her children. it literally changed the way I see things, and ngl my mom have this kind of behaviour, which also gave me trust issues 😔. I literally hate the way our society is programmed it's shaped me in a bad way.😭
