Noah, the manhunter, flew or portaled to Spazkaban and broke Sinestro out of prison with Manhunter technology OFF SCREEN. Instead, they showed him play FOOTBALL FOR 10 MINUTES

This formula does not work. We were edged for years and left Smallville for this reason 🙄

I think it's better than trying to cram everything into a 2hr film but the criticism is valid especially when we're waiting so long between seasons and getting so few episodes.

If they wanted to make a more down to earth detective story set in the DC universe, The Question should've been the MC

I liked the show, wish there were more constructs. But oh my god, the flying? THE FLYING? YOU CAN SEE HOW THEYRE ATTACHED TO CABLES BEING PULLED UP. ITS SO LAZY AND TRASHY

If they wanted a true crime detective story they had Batman or The Question. They wasted the Green Lanterns on self serving bullshit.

If that was actually posted in 2007 it would be unbelievably prophetic

Lanterns without seeing the costumes and constructs is like watching Titanic and not seeing the ship or the iceberg

you'd also have someone working on the new Surf Dracula show do an interview saying something like "Well, we found that dracula surfing was kind of weird. no one wants to just see a vampire surfing. why is a vampire surfing in the first place? so we tried to show him surfing as little as possible"

I just wish they did something more with sinestro it just felt like they needed a way to make jon be a lantern with out the core which is fine but sinestro is such a good character. also at least have him the suit. but i wish they didn't make the suit exactly a thing you put on and take off. I still enjoyed the show I was just expecting a bit more from the end

But also…why? Who make a green lantern show that’s completely counter to the premise of Green Lantern?

Abel :
I like the show. I think its biggest downfall is the editing and arrangement. Whoever they hired to edit this show probably wasn’t the most experienced editor. They used all the finale action in episode 5 and the last 3 episodes just felt like wrap up material. Also, my “bad editor” theory is reinforced given how little we see any green manifestations.

And then in season two they don’t know what to do because they still can’t give you a show about Dracula surfing they still gotta find a way to edge you somehow

My main hope is that if its not gonna be alot of fighting in S2, there better be alot of problem solving using constructs. If we get more of this low charge, black fog BS on a S2 budget, then I really am a fool for liking this show.

..... WHY NOT JUST FUCKING DO 12 EPISODES AND NOT HAVE A ANTICIMATEC ENDING. would that fix the whole problem?
