Daycare provider here—- I only buy fresh play doh in colors that will mix together nicely. Ex: I buy blue, green, purple. OR I buy orange, red, yellow. Then when they inevitably mix them they do not turn into a dirty looking color. It’s the only way I can deal with it

My mom would get mad when did this as a kid. My 1st reaction when my kids did the same was "ohh ohh mom will me pist" then remember I was the mom.😁

It should have been a red flag to my parents that I had ocd as a child when I didn’t do this and it made me mad when other kids did. Like I would lake the play food and then take it apart and put the colors back in their containers.
