Call this a "Make Windows perform the way it should" script, but I'll likely change it to something more catchy. If you haven't noticed, Windows 11 is not fully optimized, in fact, it's very unnecessarily bloated. We're not talking about special use cases here, we're talking about day to day use. What took 1 second in Windows 10 now takes 4 seconds in windows 11. Multiply that by how many actions you run on a PC and you're talking about A LOT of wasted time. WE DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THAT! It's not your computer, it's Microsoft's bad decisions on failure to streamline their OS for modern times. But there's hope... the Dev's left us a way to change it. While I love debloat tools like the CTT WinUtil and Belim's FlyByOOBE or CrapFixer, when you work with hundreds of computers like I do, you're not doing to manually configure these options on each pc, AND for each user... that's extremely inefficient and time consuming... FACT IS, there are soo many beneficial settings to change in Windows that don't have any negative effects and the resulting "experience" is vastly improved. So let's fix that and make it soo easy and safe that it removes any hurdles. What's different from this than all the others out there: we address the problem settings across all users of a PC, and also apply the settings to the default profile windows uses for any new accounts that are added, which ensures new profiles get the benefits. Plus we ONLY change settings that DON'T affect Windows features or security negatively. You see, most debloat tools only modify the existing user account that you ran it with... but Windows made a lot of settings that are considered "bloat" a per-user setting. This is a problem for Custom PC builders & IT people because when a new person signs in with their account on that computer, all the bad settings and bloat come back. This script will make every safe registry setting change to Windows on a system and per-user level that helps the pc perform better, and applies specific changes using logic instead of blindly applying settings. It disables and permanently removes common "bloat" including things like co-pilot, widgets, and also disables wasteful scheduled tasks that hog system resources.
