Hey, I know from where you're sitting in Ethiopia, your view of African Americans is coming entirely through American movies, music videos, and social media. Because of that, it's easy to pick up on those tropes without realizing how racist, hurtful or inaccurate they actually are. No one expects you to know the full context or history when you're thousands of miles away, but I would recommend that you take a course on African American history so you can understand the context.
