This but as a parent...my daughter will ask me can I ask you something without you being frustrated...and that cues me my tone of voice matters. we have had several talks about my face and tone (i have rbf and my tone can be harsh) its just a cue so I know she needs to have a more gentler conversation

I said this many times during hard conversations, but everytime he would hit me with ( what are you? a child ? you need me to be gentle and hold your hand ? if you cant handle honesty then go to therapy to figure out your daddy issues ) so I went to therapy and got a divorce 🤷🏽♀️
