@iamtheserpentsage: So many people come from abrahamic religions and collective mindsets thinking spirituality follows the same rules and that’s a mistake of monumental proportions. In IFA and other rooted spiritualism throughout history have been very individually led, and instructed as everyone’s path is as unique as their fingerprint. Once in the tradition and initiated into certain Orisa’s their may be some general taboos but largely they are still very individually based.
