As for me, if I were in that situation, I would probably walk away from the charts.
I had already moved my trade to break-even, and it eventually hit my break-even level. That $20 loss, especially after being up by $6K, is almost like an SL psychologically, even though financially, it is actually very small.
But I know myself. I know my psychology, and I know how much getting stopped out can affect me emotionally, particularly after being in significant profit. That is why, for me, the best thing to do would be to step away completely.
I would close my laptop, close MT5 on my phone, put my phone down, and go chill with my family. I would relax, get some rest, sleep, and come back another day feeling healthy and stronger.
When I return, I would look at the charts with a completely fresh mind. I would forget what happened yesterday and focus only on today.
Sometimes, the best trade you can make is simply walking away and protecting your psychology.
Well done, Boss. I genuinely appreciate your mentorship. Thank you for everything you continue to teach us.
