@offenceregister: Robert McCallan Jailed For Claiming He Could Procure Children In Dunfermline 👇 FULL CASE DETAILS BELOW 👇 A 29-year-old twice-convicted child sex offender who showed indecent images to a man and claimed he could procure young girls for sexual abuse has been jailed. Dunfermline Sheriff Court heard that Robert McCallan, a local pub manager, was on licence when he met a man outside at 1am and invited him to his room at the Guildhall and Linen Exchange to charge a phone. Once inside, McCallan displayed sexual photographs before revealing indecent images of children. McCallan told the man to guess their ages, claimed the girls were 11, 13, and 9 years old, and claimed he could arrange for them to attend the hotel for sex. Fearing for his safety, the man waited until McCallan fell asleep, left at 6am, and contacted Police Scotland after receiving follow-up messages repeating the offer. McCallan admitted showing sexual images without consent and threatening or abusive behaviour. Sheriff Charles Lugton sentenced McCallan to an unexpired licence recall of 12 months, followed consecutively by an extended sentence of 26 months in prison and three years on licence, totalling 38 months in custody.
