An old couple also ruined my best friends proposal at Laguna Beach. We didn’t even ask them to leave or anything & we kept decor to an absolute minimum to not annoy locals (few balloons and scattered flowers we cleaned up) . They simply went out of their way & waited at the top of the steps, saw a girl dressed up holding (my friend) and told her “congrats. Hope it was worth it😒”. Ruined months of planning and keeping it a surprise… it was years ago and I’m still annoyed.

Don’t get her acting like that but gotta admit I go to a park with my dog all the time and between weddings and proms being there constantly and expecting us to stay out of their way is pretty annoying

I was married on the public beach of Newport, Rhode Island with the gorgeous sunset and Newport Bridge lighting up in the background and you know what people did. They stopped, they smiled, clapped and congratulated us.
