Southampton Crown Court heard Sheppard engaged in unlawful sexual activity with two children aged 14 between March 2024 and November 2025. The offences occurred at residential addresses located in Totton and Nursling. In addition to the child sexual offences, Sheppard faced charges relating to an unrelated incident in Southampton in April 2025, where he drove dangerously while over the specified limit for controlled drugs and without third-party insurance. Sheppard pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual activity with a child, dangerous driving, drug-driving, and driving without insurance. On 2 October, the judge handed him an aggregate sentence of two years and 11 months behind bars. He was also made subject to two 10-year restraining orders, a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order, a three-year driving disqualification, and sex offender registration.
