ask him check his glassdoor these days candidates screen it to see how toxic a company is.. and most SMEs and some MNCs are pretty toxic... so its better to work part time then get involved in petty politics... life is too short to chase money and a condo only to drop dead at 50

They are smart to turn it down. That’s a lowball offer. The salary does not commensurate with the working hours. There’s definitely going to be at least 5 hours of OT a week especially because the company is in the events industry. A more reasonable starting salary would be $3,750.

My 1st reply to hders aka headhunters / EA how is the indicative salary before we explore further in order not t waste time for both parties. S$3k is simply only for those who are new/ young/ no experience.
