Today they say there's no authorization on file for me, even though every probate document and short sale file they've gotten came from me. Here's the lesson for every homeowner and agent: ✅ Get your third-party authorization confirmed in writing, and re-confirm it before every call. ✅ When someone says "the sale is on hold," ask for it in writing. A verbal answer isn't proof. ✅ Write down every rep's name, the date, and a reference number. ✅ If authorization fails, get the homeowner on a three-way call to give consent live. Never assume.
