It's not always necessary to hold someone else responsible for every pain in life. Some paths we choose ourselves, some decisions we make ourselves, and then we have to bear the consequences of those decisions. Perhaps this very realization makes a person both stronger and wiser.
Sometimes we trusted a person too much, sometimes we gave a relationship more importance than our own self, sometimes we walked down a path where wounds were waiting for us more than the destination. But every wound leaves a lesson behind, and every pain gives us a chance to understand ourselves better than before.
*"What is the fault of the thorns? It was my own foot that stepped on them."*
Perhaps this sentence is a great reality of life: instead of always blaming others, sometimes we should also account for our own footsteps.
